We are looking for an organised candidate with a strong graphic design portfolio who can take a major part in developing exciting new art projects as well as generating interest in Evermade. In short, a creative all-rounder with a knack for digital marketing.
At Evermade you will work in a comfortable, friendly environment in a newly converted church building; you will have your own desk but will need to bring your own laptop.
The role will be a varied one, with 3 main aspects:
- Graphic Design
Good design is a core part of Evermade. You will be working on press releases, web design and print design such as catalogues and lookbooks.
- Product Development
You will play a major part in developing new products for Evermade, from conception to completion. You will be scouting out the best new design talent for future projects, having significant input on the ideas stages and generally making sure the project progresses smoothly.
The third aspect of the role is to generate interest in Evermade. This will be a diverse area of your role. One day you find yourself organising an art exhibition, the next you might be meeting with fashion buyers. From gathering artists to blogging to getting art prints in stores you will busy with interesting projects, getting Evermade heard and seen.
You may also be earning commission by selling Evermade products to shops within London and the rest of the UK.
We are looking for an organised candidate with a strong design portfolio who can coordinate progress on a number of our new projects.
- People skills will be essential in this position, as you will be dealing with collaborators and clients throughout the day.
- The ability to plan ahead and create realistic project schedules.
- Good literacy skills are needed, as are social media skills, you will be updating the Facebook, Twitter and also blogging for Evermade
- Substantial experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop is a must.
